The CLF Big Trip 2023

The CLF Big trip, staged in the wilds of North Wales, is a wide range of joy-filled activities, that included hiking, camping, and swimming in icy waters!

The aim of this trip was to take our students to a new and unfamiliar environment and let them try a range of exciting outdoor activities to help improve their self-esteem, resilience, emotional wellbeing and relationship building skills.

Students worked together not only as an academy but with students across all our academies taking part, making new friends and acquaintances at the same time. The students all showed amazing resilience and character to overcome some of their biggest fears and challenges on this trip and enthusiastically threw themselves into every activity they faced.

A spokesperson for the Cabot Learning Federation said, “The CLF want to create lasting amazing memories for our students, whilst shaping who they are and developing their sense of self, to assist them on their life journey, Well done to everyone that took part, you should be very proud!”
